Dayton Daily News (03/03/10): [http://www.daytondailynews.com/dayton-sports/sinclair-basketball-star-finds-the-game-again-576889.html]Sinclair basketball star finds the game again:  British Alexander — the cousin of UD Flyers’ Chris Wright — making a name for himself.[/url]

Last season, Alexander played in the shadow of Pride All-American Mark Anderson, a 25-ppg scorer. This season — with Anderson gone — Sinclair coaches worked extra with Alexander, and he became the team’s leading scorer, averaging 13.8 points and seven rebounds a game.

Even though Wright-Patt pulled off the 91-85 upset Monday night, March 1, Alexander showed spurts of taking over the game. Midway though the second half, he scored 11 straight points for the Tartan Pride.

Afterward, a recruiter for Rio Grande College was waiting to talk to him about next season.

Price said Alexander is drawing interest from Virginia Commonwealth, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Evansville, Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne, IUPUI and especially Grand Canyon University in Arizona and Eckerd University in Florida.
