ESPN Scouts, Inc. Profile Rating of “74” and considered the #65 OT in nation. Here’s the evaluation:
"Walker is one half of a large offensive tackle duo at Middletown High. He has good size and carries it well. He is a good pass blocker. He displays the ability to play with some knee bend. He keeps a good base and can kick back and stay square. He does a good job of being able to mirror a rusher in the short area. He needs to work getting back a little faster. Also like his teammate Robinson he can struggle some adjusting to quick counters. As a run blocker he can get into a defender and wash him past the play. He gets good hand placement, but does not always use his size to his advantage. At times he will be a positional blocker and get hands on and try and stay in front of the defender. He can struggle to maintain because he leaves space between him and the defender. You would like to see a kid with his size get into a defender, smother him, and drive him off the line of scrimmage. He moves adequately and does a solid job of getting up to the second level and getting a piece of moving targets. He takes smart angles, but has some trouble adjusting to moving targets in space. Walker is a good prospect with size and ability. He may end up being a better fit at the guard spot in college."
