Clark comes from a famous Kentucky basketball family.  Uncle Ervin Stepp was Mr. Basketball in 1980 and ranks 9th all-time with 3,228 points. Uncle Ervin averaged 53.7 points his senior. Joe Stepp, Clark’s father, led the state in scoring in 1972. Another uncle, Jimmy Stepp, was the state’s top scorer in 1978.  A 2nd uncle Ervin, was led the state in 1979 and 1980. Finally, his uncle Gary Stepp led Madison Central High School in scoring in 1983.  QUITE A FAMILY BASKETBALL TRADITION!
