About Miami Hawk Talk Recruiting Information

The recruiting information contained on this site is information about student/athletes BELIEVED to be targeted by Miami University for various varsity athletic sports. The lists are far from complete and are not officially endorsed in any way by Miami University, its coaches or administration.

These pages will be updated as information is made available. Information may not be complete or timely and is compiled by newspaper articles, internet recruiting sites, and, of course, by Miami Hawk Talk Field Reporters. Players may "verbally" commit to a program, however, such committment is not binding until officially executing a "National Letter of Intent" (NLI).

Miami coaches and or its staff are not permitted to discuss or comment on potential recruits until after the signing of a NLI. The signing period for fall sports such as football begins in early February and runs until early April; basketball and other winter sports have an early signing perdiod in mid-November and a late signing period from April to May.

2007 PROSPECT: Originally played H.S. at Kimball H.S., in Cedar Hills, TX, TJ decided to prep a year at God’s Academy.  In H.S., TJ had Illinois, SMU, Cincinnati, California, Oregon, Miami of Florida, Stanford, Florida State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Colorado interested in him.  He took unofficial visits to California, Stanford and SMU.  Averaged 14 ppg and 7 rebounds in H.S. and is able to play either guard position.

Clark is a lefty 2-guard that has a nice stroke and can get hot from behind the three point line. He can handle the ball in the open court and find the open man in transition. He is a good passer from the wing, will put the ball on the floor and finish in traffic. He is a quick defender and is good in the passing lanes....TJ is a strong built guard who knows how to use his body in the paint to score or can step out and stroke the 3 point shot. He has a smooth lefty stroke, can slash to the hole from the wing and finish in the paint and takes contact well and still finishes. He has a good feel for the game, knows how to work to get open, handles it well in the open court and works hard on defense.
