2007 PROSPECT: Named 2nd Team all-area as a Junior averaging 11 ppg and 9 rpg for the regional champs. Also named HM all-State (Class 5A). Port St. Lucie HC Kareem Rodriquez says this of Larry:
"He changes things for our opponents. Regardless of his defense, he’s always such a presence. He’s always altering shots and changing shots because of his height. He also has great agility and quickness."
Plays AAU for Florida Elite U17. Rated a 4-star player and top 15 player in the state by Florida Hoops.com and it provides the following recruiting report on Larry:
Sanders has a basketball frame and can block a shot. He has a good idea of what to do in the post and has some range on his jumpshot. He has great size and build for the game. PSL had a couple of brothers, Richard and Carl Damus, that didn’t look this good this early in their junior year and they are both playing college basketball. Larry has a good future ahead if he stays focused. Great potential!
Larry is considered by this site as the #4 player in the “Treasure Coast”
