About Miami Hawk Talk Recruiting Information

The recruiting information contained on this site is information about student/athletes BELIEVED to be targeted by Miami University for various varsity athletic sports. The lists are far from complete and are not officially endorsed in any way by Miami University, its coaches or administration.

These pages will be updated as information is made available. Information may not be complete or timely and is compiled by newspaper articles, internet recruiting sites, and, of course, by Miami Hawk Talk Field Reporters. Players may "verbally" commit to a program, however, such committment is not binding until officially executing a "National Letter of Intent" (NLI).

Miami coaches and or its staff are not permitted to discuss or comment on potential recruits until after the signing of a NLI. The signing period for fall sports such as football begins in early February and runs until early April; basketball and other winter sports have an early signing perdiod in mid-November and a late signing period from April to May.

Mark Anderson

Position PF Height 6-8 Weight 200 School Dunbar/Sinclair CC Hometown Dayton Incoming Year 2009
Offered By Miami, Cleveland State, Ohio

2009 PROSPECT: Mark is the 3rd option for the Dunbar Wolverines.  However, that doesn't mean he isn't an incredible talent.  Dunbar's first two options are 2G Daequan Cook (Ohio State) and man-child Aaron Pogue (Class of 2007).  Mark has really improved his game and continues to improve.  He has a very nice outside shot and can also play inside.  Needs to add weight to play inside in college but has terrific anticipation and can jump out of the gym.  Some team will get a steal with Anderson as he's a hidden gem playing with some other terrific talent.  Youtube Video #32 UPDATE: (4.10.08) Mark just completed his Freshman year at Sinclair CC and helped lead Sinclair to a 24-6 record.  Rival$ Profile ***

"People don’t believe me, but Mark can do everything Daequan Cook (teammate and five-star prospect) can. He is even longer than Cook, but doesn’t have the moxy yet.”
-Peter Pullen, Dunbar H.S. Head Coach
