2007 TARGET: One of Indiana’s better big men who has a knack for shot blocking. Plays AAU for Spiece Central. Played very well this past summer matching up against 7’ Greg Oden. Howard has drawn rave reviews from his play this spring and summer, He has a terrific back to the basket game and now just needs to learn to show more face-up game to really start the recruiting ball rolling. But things rolling pretty well as is. Recruiting picked up after he got the MVP award down in North Carolina (Bob Gibbons TOC). Miami, Purdue, Wisconsin, Butler have all shown interest. May still be growing. $cout Profile

Matt is very athletic. Can go lane to lane for a loose ball. Extends himself really well for a rebound. Very unselfish and has a very good 15-17 foot shot. Matt is very relentless at staying inside. When a ball goes up he is always thinking that ball is going to come off that rim to him.

Matt is a rebounding machine but can take the ball off the dribble, score with either hand and seems to always find the open man with terrific passes.
