TaJuan Porter

Had an unreal State run.  Proved to college coaches that his size doesn’t matter as this kid can flat out play.  Considered one of Michigan’s top offensive players.  Lightning fast with top-notch handle can blast through any zone and can shoot lights out.  Currently, Oregon, Dayton, Detroit, Rutgers, Kent, Cleveland State, Arizona, and Miami-OH are on his hot list.  Plays AAU for “The Family”.  In one game last season, Porter had a quadruple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals in a win over Detroit Rogers.
UPDATE 4.11.05: Ranked as the #20 player at the recent Boo Williams tournament.  “By weekend’s end people just couldn’t stop talking about him.  He just rained jumpers in from all over the floor and had the crowd going wild. Quote from Boo Williams himself “That little fella was just amazing.”
UPDATE 4.18.05: No one has helped their stock over the last two weeks than Porter.  Most recently, Porter and the Family participated in “The Real Deal on the Hill” tourny in Arkansas.  Porter was named to the all-tourny team.  His ability to hit jump shots from all over the floor has made him a hot topic with scouts & college coaches.  Porter has become one of the elite shooters in AAU play and his quickness has caught the eyes of several schools; Oregon, Tennessee, Rutgers, Michigan, Arkansas, and UAB are among the bigger schools that watch him & now like Porter. Miami-OH, Toledo, Bowling Green, Oakland University, James Madison, and Ohio U are all in love with the dynamo.
UPDATE 4.21.05: Offers by Oregon, Detroit, Cleveland State. Miami, Tennessee, Rutgers, Michigan, UAB , Dayton are recruiting.
