About Miami Hawk Talk Recruiting Information

The recruiting information contained on this site is information about student/athletes BELIEVED to be targeted by Miami University for various varsity athletic sports. The lists are far from complete and are not officially endorsed in any way by Miami University, its coaches or administration.

These pages will be updated as information is made available. Information may not be complete or timely and is compiled by newspaper articles, internet recruiting sites, and, of course, by Miami Hawk Talk Field Reporters. Players may "verbally" commit to a program, however, such committment is not binding until officially executing a "National Letter of Intent" (NLI).

Miami coaches and or its staff are not permitted to discuss or comment on potential recruits until after the signing of a NLI. The signing period for fall sports such as football begins in early February and runs until early April; basketball and other winter sports have an early signing perdiod in mid-November and a late signing period from April to May.

2012 PROSPECT: Small school (Ohio Division IV) prospect has already visited Miami, Akron, Butler, and Ohio State. Coaches from Indiana (Tom Crean), North Carolina, Miami, Ohio, and Akron were seen watching him at a local AAU game (Take 5 Classic in Cincinnati).

Evaluation
May, 2009: Dylan is a strong and powerful wing that is a very good scorer. He is a good shooter to 20 feet and is also very effective driving to the basket. His strong body allows him to get in the lane and score while slashing by his opponents. He goes right most of the time. His left hand could use a little more development. He also needs to raise his release a little to make it even harder to guard. Dylan is a solid athlete that will dunk on an unsuspecting opponent. He is a good rebounder for his position. His size and effort make him very good inside especially when playing in his age group. Defensively he needs to move his feet better. He is not bad now but can struggle some with quickness. Dylan is a very good player now. He must continue to hone his skills over the course of his career. His body type is not built for a lot of growth so he projects as a wing at the next level.
Notes
Travel Team: CBIZ...
