2010 PROSPECT: MinnesotaPreps.com wrote the following about Chip:
Chip Rank is an incredible worker. What I was expecting to see was a 6-foot-6 bruiser around the basket who gobbled up rebounds and had a defined low post game. That was definitely true but Rank's ball skills on the perimeter and his shooting stroke were much better then I expected. If he goes mid-major it will be a huge get for that level of a team.BadgerBlitz wrote this:
Rank, who already has a handful of mid-major offers, showed outstanding range on his jump shot. Although listed as a forward, Rank had probably the sweetest outside shot of anyone participating in the tournament. He lacks some lateral movement on the block but is as tough as they come. All-in-all, he's going to make one college coach extremely happy. Also being recruited as a quarterback in football.
