Walsh's Niro picks Miami
Outfielder Chris Niro, who helped Walsh Jesuit to a 24-7 record and a spot in the Division II regional finals last spring, has made an oral commitment to attend Miami University.
Niro, a two-year starter, will sign a national letter of intent in November, Walsh coach Chris Kaczmar said. A Plain Dealer All-Star, Niro batted .424 with six homers and 30 RBI last season
