Season: Over.

With a final score of 19-16, you’d expect that score to be a football game. But the “PING!” of the bats were active Friday afternoon, as Miami dropped a tough contest to the Cardinals of Ball State in the M.A.C. tourney. One of the highlights: Freshman Paul Frietch (pictured) hit his second grand slam of the season. The RedHawks finish the season with a 31-28 record, marking the fifth straight campaign that head coach Tracy Smith and Miami have topped the 30-win plateau. The Red and White also recorded a 16-12 conference tally for the third straight season. You can get the details of the contest at the link below (credit to muredhawks.com for help of this write-up).
