RedHawks finish fall season unbeaten

Miami softball wrapped up its fall season with a 6-0 record by winning Wright State’s tournament.

Pitching was the name of the game for the RedHawks.

Freshman Courtney Salmon threw a 3-hitter in the championship game win over Wright State to go with a no-hitter against Wittenberg.  She also combined with freshman Heather Freudenberger for 9 strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Dayton.

Sophomore Jackie Poggendorf recorded 10 strike outs in the opening round win over Wright State.
