RedHawk teams combine for 9-0 weekend
Miami soccer, volleyball, field hockey and softball had quite a homecoming weekend. The teams combined for a perfect 9-0 record in games played Friday through Sunday.
Soccer won two big road games: 1-0 overtime against a tough Butler team and an all-important 2-0 domination of Ball State in Muncie.
Volleyball started its recovery from an 0-4 start in MAC play by beating Buffalo 3-0 and downing Kent State 3-1.
Softball was a perfect 4-0 in winning Wright State’s fall tournament
Field hockey posted just its second win of the season, 2-0 over St Louis.
Throw in the start of basketball season and it was quite a weekend.
