OU Poem #2
Second in a series of poems for OU week by Chuck, the once and future Poet Laureate of South Main.
Of all the schools that stand create,
I have detested one.
When hope from Peed-in fades away
And OU's year is done,
When students leave for winter break
And no one's in the stands,
And the trend of wins in Athens
Drifts away like sand,
When RedHawks show their royal front
And Solich melts away,
Behold! the Bobcats I abhorred
O'er all teams in our way!
