OU Poem #1

First in a series of poems for OU week by Chuck, the once and future Poet Laureate of South Main.

What happens to a Cat defurred?
Does it dry up
like a corn husk in the sun?
Or try but fail to score--
And then run?
Does it stink like patchouli oil?
Or give up and get real high--
Make a bowl from foil?

Maybe it reflects
on its nasty luck.

Or does it just suck?
