Michael Larkin plays on

While Ben Roethlisberger enjoys life in the spotlight for the Super Bowl champion Steelers, his former roomie and favorite target Michael Larkin is back home in Cincinnati, hoping to catch the eye of a pro scout.  Nowadays, he plays for the Cincinnati Marshals indoor football team (National Indoor Football League).

While other recent Miami stars like Terna Nande, Martin Nance, Darrell Hunter, John Busing, and Josh Betts hope to hear their names called in this month’s NFL draft, Larkin is juggling three jobs while keeping his pro dreams alive.

The Marshals play at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati and have a home game tonight against Dayton.

Here’s a feature on Larkin in today’s Cincinnati Enquirer.
