Men win, women take third at Flyer 5K Challenge
Saturday was a good day for the Miami men's and women's cross-country teams, who placed first and third overall, respectively, at the Flyer 5K Challenge hosted by the University of Dayton. Miami senior Chris Swisher was the top men's finisher (and one of six RedHawks in the top ten), while sophomore Sarah Heinze led the Miami women with a second-place finish. It was the third consecutive win at the event for the men's XC team. The teams host their only home meet of the season, the Miami Invitational, on September 10.
