McCullough's 1000th kill not enough
Senior Kelly McCullough became only the 13th Miami volleyball player to record 1000 kills in her career but the RedHawks could not a kill when they needed one in handing the BG Falcons their first MAC win of the year.
In the first and fourth games of the match the RedHawks got to game point but couldn’t finish giving the Falcons 30-32 and 29-31 wins. In the third game Miami was tied at 28 but surrendered the last two points.
The RedHawks are home for four straight matches as they try to get back into contention for a MAC tournament berth but it won’t be easy. West Division leading Ball State comes to Millett on Wednesday followed by the top three teams in the East.
