Maria Fantanarosa sets mark for coaching victories
With her 132d career win as the head coach of Miami's women's basketball team, an 87-79 RedHawk win over IUPUI on Dec. 30, Maria Fantanarosa became the all-time winningest head coach in team history. The old mark of 131 was held by Pam Wettig, who coached at Miami from 1975-1984. We here at MHT salute Maria for this outstanding accomplishment.
