Lefty McFadden Invitational Gets Stronger
The Dayton Daily News is reporting that the Lefty McFadden Hockey Invitational will see two traditional hockey powers next year. Boston University and the University of Michigan will be joining Northeastern and tournament host Miami for the two-night exempt tournament.
"Having BU and Michigan playing hockey in the Nutter Center is like having Duke and North Carolina playing basketball in UD Arena,” said tournament co-chair Chuck Gabringer of the Dayton Hockey Foundation.
