If Miami Softball is to qualify for the MAC Tournament for the first time since the conference restricted the number of qualifiers in 1983, they must at least win their 3 games series at Buffalo this weekend. A sweep would be even better.
The RedHawks (11-7) currently hold the 6th and final qualifying spot in the tournament and face Kent State, which has the 2nd best record in the league, in the final weekend of the regular season.
A win today would be Miami’s 9th straight and would eliminate two of the teams that are chasing the RedHawks for a tournament spot.
