When the VolleyHawks beat Hofstra in the Miami Invitational, the service game played a large role. The RedHawks served up a MAC record 23 aces.
The Springfield News Sun reports that Kristen Walters, who is more noted for her hitting than serving, led the way with a Miami record tieing 8 aces.
