A Walk-on's story
For freshman Whitney Beck, soccer’s preseason camp was an eye-opener. She quickly realized that she could not earn a roster spot on her skills alone. However, when three-a-days were done and the roster was announced, Whitney had won the right to wear a Miami uniform.
