2005-06 Women's BB non-conference schedule out
On Thursday, the women’s basketball team released the 2005-06 non-conference schedule, which features tournaments in St. Louis and Chicago, a trip to New Orleans, and matchups with five major-conference opponents. The inexperienced Redhawks--the team features six freshmen--face a stiff challenge, but head coach Maria Fantanarosa is still excited: “When compared to the experience level of a team with six freshmen,” she says, “it’s a very challenging schedule. We’re excited about competing against teams from some of the nation’s top conferences and also about taking on some of the up-and-coming programs in the Midwest.”

Nov. 20 - at Michigan
Nov. 25-26 - at Saint Louis Billiken Classic (Yale and New Orleans)
Nov. 30 - WRIGHT STATE
Dec. 2-3 - at Northwestern Invitational (Wake Forest and St. Johns)
Dec. 7 - BUTLER
Dec. 10 - at Vanderbilt
Dec. 18 - SETON HALL
Dec. 21 - at Chicago State
Jan. 2 - at Tulane
