Most Recent Story: Miamians Compete for NCAA National Championships
This week three Miami track and field athletes will compete at the NCAA Track and Field National Championships, which are being held at Drake University.
Pat Sovacool is competing in the 5,000 meter run, with the preliminaries on Wednesday and the finals on Friday. Pat won the 5,000 meter MAC title in May and finished fifth at both the Penn Relays and the NCAA Regional Championships.
Kevin Dwyer is competing in the decathlon, which begins with five events on Wednesday and concludes with the final five events on Thursday. Kevin won the decathlon at the MAC Championships this year.
Kristina Bolterstein is competing in the high jump, which takes place on Wednesday. Kristina won the MAC high jump title in May and finished fifth at the NCAA Regional Championships.
Good luck to these three highly accomplished Miamians in their quest for a national title.
