Most Recent Story: Men's Basketball Holds Post-season Banquet
Miami Men’s basketball team held its annual postseason banquet this evening, and a member of the Miami Hawk Talk community managed to make the awards list.
Predictably, Tim Pollitz earned the William Rohr Most Valuable Player award, while MAC Tournament hero Doug Penno earned the new Sixth Man Award and the Holdie Wilson Award, which is awarded to the player who best demonstrates an unconditionally positive spirit.
Also earning a new award were Sixth Man Club members Chris Carsten and Greg and Becky Martin, who earned Sixth Man Club co-members of the year awards. MHT gnomes could not confirm whether or not Sam Lickliter was in attendance to present the award, but the award certainly was NOT ‘terrible’.
