Most Recent Story: MIAMI vs. Akron in MAC Showdown: Let's get it on!
It’s a three team race for the MAC East championship, and by Saturday afternoon we’ll have a much better idea of where Miami stands. It’s a showdown week as 11-3 Miami faces the two teams ahead of the RedHawks in the MAC East.
It starts tonight against 12-2 Akron. The RedHawks put their six game winning streak on the line tonight at 7pm at Millett Hall. A Miami win means the RedHawks would play at first place Kent State Saturday with a chance to tie the Golden Flashes atop the standings.
A large (and loud!) crowd would be welcome, as the “sixth man” may make a difference!
ALSO...In an effort to promote awareness for National Athletic Training month and raise funds for the Relay For Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society, members of Miami University’s Sports Medicine staff will be available to take blood pressure readings before and during the game. Tables will be staffed in the Millett Hall Concourse from 6:15-8:15 p.m.
