| With all these players leaving UK early under John Calipari, what will the impact be on the NCAA APR for UK? I figure JC leaves about the time any impact is felt. |

So long as they are in good academic standing when they leave, I think there is no effect on APR. _________________ "Psycho was low on talent. Psycho was low on athleticism. Psycho can play on my team any day. Psycho has the biggest heart of any player I have seen."

They have to finish out the semester. So far everybody has finished it out except for 1 guy - Daniel Orton - same year as John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, etc.
Easier said than done. Seems like most football players with pro prospects don't stick around 2nd semester so they can go train somewhere full-time before the combine / draft. Not sure if football rules are same as basketball in this regard. _________________ Miami '95 |

Most of these players don't take classes in Spring semester. Or if they do, it's a very limited number of credit hours. Miami, I think, requires their athletes take 9-12 hours each semester but the majority of the athletes are on campus taking classes year round so they can graduate within the 4 year time plan. Or in some cases, 5, depending on the athlete and sport. _________________
