San Juan Oxford
Well, I made it home to Oxford just in time to witness the annual migration.
It is a sunny day around 88 degrees; I drove down some of the side streets in the square mile and right down High Street. The outdoor tables and patios of Skipper’s, Bagel & Deli, 45 East, and Brick Street are packed. There are pretty coeds in bikinis that are sunbathing on front lawns, in blow-up wading pools, on balconies & rooftops. Spontaneous games of Pong are breaking out all over and beer is flowing in the streets.
All in all it’s a good day!

A co-worker's niece is starting at Miami and I just had a nice 30 minute conversation about my first weekend as a freshmen, that didn't improve my mood! |

After working at other universities... I really, really, really appreciate how attractive the (female) student body is at Miami.
I remember being told my 3rd year at Virginia Tech, "Man, I'm glad school is back in. There are so many hot girls out."
My response of, "Really? Where?" did not go over well. |
