I've noticed the BP routinely has gas at 15 cents more a gallon than any other station in Oxford. When did that start? Katrina maybe? And why exactly does anyone buy gas there when it's so much cheaper anywhere else? Are they doing any business? _________________ M! clap clapclapclap I! clap clapclapclap A! clap clapclapclap MMmmmmIIiiiiiiAMI! |

If you're traveling on SR 127, it's the only station for a considerable amount of time. Supply and demand. _________________ Have you heard about the bird? |

Except for the Shell station right across the street. |

i seem to remember it was that way my entire time in o-town and the area ('90 - '01). Think I bought gas there maybe twice that entire time. _________________ "I believe in the love that you gave me

I was talking about the one on the corner of 127 and 73 by the biker bar. _________________ Have you heard about the bird? |

You two aren't talking about the same BP, or maybe not the same streets. Rt.127 is not in uptown Oxford; 27 and 73 run through Oxford. The BP in Oxford is on Rt.27, not 127, and is across the street from the Shell station at College and High. BP's high price has nothing to do with Katrina, Brutus Buckeye or Bob Hugggins. Their price is higher because they don't really want to bother with selling gas; they make their money off car repairs. So most people go to the Shell across the street, even though the Coke never seems to have enough fizz for some of their more demanding customers and it sometimes takes as much as eight minutes to nuke a hotdog, apply the condiments, pay for one's gas and be on one's way. . _________________ It's "Miami University," plain and simple!
