how was your broomball game? (sorry if you aready commented)

Sorry...I went back through the whole thread so this is the first I saw this. We lost, but I didn't care because I had my laptop and was streaming the game from the bench with the scorekeeper and the supervisor. It was actually really funny because whenever anyone on the ice was near the bench, they'd just start yelling "SCORE? SCORE? SCORE?"

I thought you had been drinking, but then I remember you meant broomball.

Be sure to check out www.freep.com for the pithy insults from the Wal Mart Wolverines. I am sure that they will great by mid-morning tomorrow. Seriously, for such a pretentious group, they provide plenty of misguided comic relief.

I like the earlier comment about the years of frustration when Miami would play Mich straight up only to lose late in the game. At last, a big time victory in OT and better yet, it is Michigan!

Where can I go to see a video replay of the winning goal? I lost my connection for channelsurfing in the 2nd OT.

A verse inspired by the "Fail, Michigan" sign I saw on TV

Fail, do the conquering heroes
Fail, did the victors valiant
Fail, Fail did Michigan, the Champs live in Oxford!

Loved that sign. Whoever made that sign if you are on this board come forward and receive your praise.

The Wal Mart Wolverines. I had never heard that before today, and I have now heard it three times today alone. Does that get thrown around often? Where did it come from?

I was booted from this thread on page 16 (my laptop died Mad ), but boy o boy what a finish. I started yelling and jumping around as loud as I could then realized other people in my house were asleep. Man, there's no way I'm sleeping tonight.

TWO MORE WINS!!!!

The first being that ole dirty bastard, Boston (of Massachusetts) College.

On a sidenote, Red Berenson is stuck on 699 career wins.

Enjoy the offseason, Red. Very Happy

I love this last line from the most recent article:

Quote:
Head coach Enrico Blasi claimed all week that it didn’t matter which goalie played, and in the end he was right.

I posted it on my facebook and I'll do it here. That game was like the most intense massage you've ever had with one amazing happy ending.

Back at the hotel and I dont know how I'm going to sleep.

Seconded.

My birthday is April 6th. I have no problem changing my favorite day in April, either.

Divorce I believe.

We were sitting right behind that sign and it was awesome! I got so sick of hearing that song over and over and over again. So glad our band can actually play more than one song! Smile

Great game!!!!

Yeah, he apparently mentioned it during the CCHA awards presentation.

I believe the split occurred around this time last year because I know Rico was holding off on collecting his frozen four bonus till the legal matters were settled. Any who lets get back to being pumped about being in the Frozen 4 again.

I'm assuming you mean the 5 of us in the corner with the Miami across our chests? Because that was me and some friends. Roommate was the one with the sign mostly.
We were told that we couldn't hold up that sign and be on TV by the way. It was deemed "too negative."
