It's just how that game worked out. Jason Stewart came up huge the next game against Utah.
It was amazing how Wally took the team on his shoulders against UDub. |

Paul Pearson was my president during my years at Miami, but I think it's safe to say that Phillip Shriver is every Miamian's president. |

How about a feature on one of Miami's great wrestlers of the past? We had a few. I know at least one is in Miami's athletic HOF. _________________ "The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll!!"

Ok guess we have our wrestlers covered. Wasn't the wrestler I was thinking of though. Guy I was thinking of was inducted into Miami HOF in 1983. Same class as Gary Wright, Phil Lumpkin, and David Brown. _________________ "The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll!!"

I was among those in attendance for that first game against Purdue and still have the commerative game ticket. And I was there for the first night game. I also had the honor of doing play-by-play from inside the press box many times for WMSR. What a great venue for college baseball. _________________ "We will shoot for perfection... but nobody's perfect. But we'll shoot for perfection and we'll settle for excellence."
