Jack Johnson is out for at least two weeks. Great. Oh well, I still think that we end the Blackhawks' insane winning streak tonight because there is no way that they take us seriously.
Also:
Realignment talk again with us heading East.
Lindy Ruff possibly replacing Richards??? _________________ Drinkin' beer and kickin' ass since 1809

Sonofabitch...0-3 against them this year with all of them being one goal losses (and you could argue that we outplayed the Hawks in every game not that that matters). What's that? We've now lost ten games by one goal this year? Christ, they better give us the #1 pick just for being so competitive this year despite the horribleness of Adrian Aucoin. _________________ Drinkin' beer and kickin' ass since 1809

I think that Jarmo and JD are listening to whoever calls. We have some blueline talent to spare (if they ever can get healthy). I've really liked what I've seen from Erixon and Goloubef.
FYI, Jackie J and Brassard could both return tonight. _________________ Drinkin' beer and kickin' ass since 1809

Agreed. Wouldn't be bad to get some of Pittsburgh's youth in return _________________ Back the Sack |

The name being mentioned around here is Simon Despres, who is 21 and I think will be a top two defenseman soon.
Not sure how I feel about Jack... Pens are in "win now" mode for sure, but this cost may be steep. _________________ Most Livable City... |

That's three in a row! Go for one more! Go for it! CONNECT FOUR!
I will always enjoy beating the Sedin/McPoyle brothers. Those two are so creepy.

With the front office moves, the stockpile of 1st round picks and the pretty decent play so far this season, the team is making me optimistic. They have played in 13 one goal games with a 4-9 record. They have gone to OT 9 times and the shootout in 3 of those games. They have gotten stomped a few times, but they have kept a lot of games close. That makes for fun hockey when the team is giving a 60 minute effort on a regular basis. |

That's a season series victory! Fortunately, the Wings don't have to get their asses kicked by us within the division any more. _________________ Drinkin' beer and kickin' ass since 1809
