Wish her nothing but the best, with all her success here it was only a matter of time before someone poached her away. _________________ Scalp the S$!t out of that song, bring back signs, make it fun. Redskins Forever!!!! Bagel and Deli!!! Ron Tammen Lives!!!! |

Yeah, the line of people wanting to call Gene Smith their boss is a mile long.
They just fired their coach of 16 years who was making $102k. It's not gonna be double.
Also, we made the tourney. They didn't.
Most importantly, though, Miami has the proven ability to attract a pitcher that shares a name with a pop star. Can the buckeyes do that? Nope. |

Yea, the pop star jessica is fat still from her baby

We won't be promoting from within, either, as Coach Buchholz is following Coach Schoenly to OSU and Coach Sutcliffe is taking the NIU head coaching job.
Congrats to Coach Schoenly and best of luck.
Speaking of Softball coaches, what happened to Jacobs at Utah after she left Miami? IIRC, she was only there 1 season. _________________ MIAMI. PRAYER. ANSWERED! -- Steve Baker 12/3/2010

Angie's out at Cal- Berkley. She was only at Utah for one season, 2007. But I never heard the reason why she left? _________________

I did a little digging and this was all I could find. Let me go on record of saying I knew Angie for many years at Miami and she was tough, but she wanted her team to succeed.
From reading these articles though, it sounds like the Utah girls couldn't take what Angie was pushing them towards.
Utah softball team excited to move on
U. looking to return to glory
Angie helped rebuild the Miami softball team from what it had fallen to, to a title contending, then 2005 MAC Tournament Champ and NCAA qualifying team. _________________
