Just wanted to share this amazing journey by a Miami alum. This past Sunday in San Diego was the send-off for Mark Stephan who was injured in a bike accident leaving him a quadriplegic. A small group of Miami alums were there to send him off. He is riding his bike cross country, 3,129 miles from San Diego to St. Augustine, FL to raise funds for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. His story is truly amazing and inspiring.
You can follow along on his website, http://www.stephanchallenge.com/

If you get a chance, stop by his site and send encouraging words his way, and donate if you can. If his route takes him close to you, find out how you can join in by riding along or cheering him on.

I just sent this along to a friend whose husband was involved in a motorcycle accident in Qatar 28 days ago and is now paralyzed from the waist down...stories like this give hope to those who need it the most!
