although i question how the AD did it, he had a reputation for being an SOB with staff and he had already lost 3 of his assistants this season (and the 4th was imminent - and did announce new position after the firing). His top assistant leaving for Clemson refused to stay at Tech with Greenberg even after Tech offered to match the salary he was getting at clemson. |
