| I can cheer for BG, but Ohio shall get no love from me. MAC teams making deep runs, especially rivals who currently have more support, does nothing but hurt Miami. |

| Credit to the Bobcat defense, particularly on the perimeter. Michigan couldn't handle the pressure and lost their composure early in this game and started doing stupid stuff. This was a good match-up for the Bobs. It's why I picked them to win in my bracket. |

| I just got home safely from the Michigan alumni event out here. They hated me. Only thing that made me feel better after Miami getting shellacked was their tears. |

Really? Ask valpo, uw-m, green bay, and loyola if butler making runs made their lives easier.
Or ask anyone in the wcc..
We are recruiting against ou, who often draws around 10k fans per game. Them making tourney runs is not good for us. They have enough ammo to sell recruits without pointing to tourney wins.
Plus it's ou...do we not care about rivalries anymore?

So you're saying we can keep the $575,000 our wins would pay to Miami's athletic department. Thanks! It'll help us hold onto John Groce.
Sheesh, you guys sound like Bucknut fans who claim their two favorite teams are Ohio State and "whoever's playing Michigan." If your rival can't win, then the rivalry has no meaning, sort of like Ohio vs Miami in football. _________________ Ohio '99 EMU '00 USF '09 |

Wake me when Ohio wins a MAC title for the first time since the Nixon administration. _________________ "Psycho was low on talent. Psycho was low on athleticism. Psycho can play on my team any day. Psycho has the biggest heart of any player I have seen."

I am and have been rooting hard for OU. Glad to see our rival and a MAC rival doing so well. It should only push us to compete at that level, plus every win by OU increases our revenue share from the tournament for the next 6 years. Regarding OU, 3 times while walking in the Q at the MAC tournament I had OU fans (drunk or working on it) yell or say something rude to me because I had on a Miami shirt. Of course there were several thousand OU fans there, so most were not A-holes, which is actually quite an improvement from the way they used to be. _________________ Miami University...17 NCAA tournament appearances...4 Sweet 16's. |
