I'm alive- really

Took time off after the Yanks chaos on the board an stresses in life to actually finish a novel six months before deadline- and now I find out main author of series has inked a deal to do 4 more in series (2 with another writer)- so I have to do some major surgery on the plot and ending(s). (another 2 month wait then 2 months of intensive reworking/rewriting that beast.)
Two more books on tap with another established author and a humor book (illustrated) with the same author set for this and next year as projects.
Then another NYTBS author has expressed interest in working with me and mentoring too. Want to do a Dwarf Merc in Space romp vs High Fantasy or Hard Science Space Opera/Naval battle books with deep deep convoluted plots.

- if interested you can read The Kildaran's first draft snippets on thekildaran.blogspot.com or on johnringo.org (tavern -> Paladin of Shadows -> Ghost (look for posts by me or Adam Gaffen and you can read the snippets (but remember that oldest posts will be farther back. (we have 3 more novels in same series etched out on paper with partial snippets in can already, and an idea for another military thriller that needs polish so we can try to find a publisher for it too. These other projects should help us with that.

So if I'm away for extended times, forgive me.
I'm working/writing again- finally.
And doing so between bouts of migraines and PTSD- so my free time is precious and I am trying to keep internet activity on a schedule and medications to a minimum so I can effectively write.

Gotta get off the dole eventually and trying my best the only way left to me (other than winning lotto, but then you gotta buy a ticket to win that. Neh? So scratch that...pun intended.) That is writing and using my mind to created entertainment for the rest of you.

(Then again, I so am not looking forward to all the book signings and Cons (conventions) that go with being a writer in these genres.)

- now I just need to live up to my nickname, MrGenre, write and sell and write some more...at least I'm not doing ghost writing in historical romances anymore...
