Amazingly, the MAC got 4 teams in, which ties us with the ACC for 4th best. Big Ten 8, Big 12 7, Pac12 7, MAC 4, ACC 4, Big East 3, Missouri Valley 3, SEC 3, Sun Belt 2, West Coast 2, all other conferences one bid.
Teams with RPI listed : 14NIU, 32 WM, 34 Ball State, 74 CMU (won the touornament for the automatic bid). OU had an RPI of 51 so they were close. Frist round games are today and tomorrow. _________________ Miami University...17 NCAA tournament appearances...4 Sweet 16's.

Sounds like we were the first team out. That hurts. _________________ Follow the MAC Report Online and J. Scott Fitzwater Twitter feeds. |

| Hopefully the ladies of the MAC can make some noise in the tourney. |

How did Ball State make it with that RPI? Or is that 34 or 35? _________________ "Statistics are for losers. The only numbers that matter are the final score."

I'm not sure what type of noise you were looking for. Perhaps a wimper was heard as the MAC lost all four first round matches by scores of either 3-1 or 3-0. Were they expected to win any or not? |

All 4 MAC teams were the higher seed in their matchups, so I guess we were underdogs in all 4 games. _________________ Miami University...17 NCAA tournament appearances...4 Sweet 16's. |

| Thanks for the info. The losses don't seem bad under those circumstances. |

First time since '07 the conference didn't record a win. _________________ Follow the MAC Report Online and J. Scott Fitzwater Twitter feeds. |
