Nice.
Q: Are Fiesta Charra and El Burito Loco similar? _________________ "All roads don't lead to Oxford. To get here, you have to want to get here. But once you're here, you never want to leave" - Dr. Phillip Shriver |

Yes for four years actually, but not once did I go to either one of these places lol.
My stomach doesn't stomach Mexican very well. Actually, not at all haha. _________________ "All roads don't lead to Oxford. To get here, you have to want to get here. But once you're here, you never want to leave" - Dr. Phillip Shriver |

Sure hope that, when Fiesta Charra moves out, an enterprising local businessperson sees the need to install an 18th restaurant in Oxford specializing in south-of-the-Rio-Grande cuisine, like the ever-popular refried beans and rice or, perhaps, rice and refried beans.

Fiesta Charra was the one place I didn't get to when I was in Oxford last weekend. It's 1st on my list for my next trip back, love that place! _________________ "We will shoot for perfection, and we can settle for excellence."

I've never tried Charra either; I do think El Burrito is pretty mediocre.
Plus with that name, maybe this guy will show up:

One place has rice and refried beans. The other place has refried beans and rice. How different can any of them be?
Think outside the bun! Costs much less. _________________ It's "Miami University," plain and simple! For as long as the wind shall blow! |

Went to FC tonight. The place was packed. I guess a liquor license is a ticket to riches. _________________ M! clap clapclapclap I! clap clapclapclap A! clap clapclapclap MMmmmmIIiiiiiiAMI! |

I was there as well. Sorry I missed you. Good, but certainly not great, food, and a very nice atmosphere. |

Precisely. I remember the first time I went to FC and found out they didn't have drinkies, I was very disappointed. |

Few things beat a Sunday maragrita brunch at a run-of-the-mill Mexican place. _________________ "Psycho was low on talent. Psycho was low on athleticism. Psycho can play on my team any day. Psycho has the biggest heart of any player I have seen."

Yeah, when I came back to school right after I had turned 21 over the summer, I went to Charra and confidently ordered a margarita, seeing as I was a grown ass man. I felt quite foolish as I changed to a water.

Though it closed after my freshman year (2003-2004 right?) I only went to Pedros once. Hands down the worst service I had ever had. Our server was rude, our food took 45 min despite the restaurant being almost empty, and we had to walk back to practically the kitchen to get a check. I believe he received a total of $2 from a group of 5 as a tip. Never got a chance to have my perceptions changed. _________________ http://velvetblazer.blogspot.com |

For sure. I don't like frozen at all, I need that tequila flavor.
Also, the irony of you making a joke about not being manly and ending with a wink was excellent. Well played sir. _________________ http://velvetblazer.blogspot.com |

We went to Guadalajara on JPA in Charlottesville, 7+ of us nearly every Sunday for two years. Good times, unremarkable food, and large margaritas.
