Regarding items not discussed - #11. Would this imply that people are satisfied with the service or just something that did not get to the table? I am particularly interested in the ushers and how they are viewed. I know that over the past 3 years Keanah has worked hard to improve the ushers attitudes, friendliness and knowledge. Has that become evident?

I sure hope it simply didn't get asked. If you have the Athetic Director for a breakfast session, I would HOPE the ushers aren't a leading question. I know Moll wrote that based on some past experiences, but we have PLENTY of bigger issues right now that would hopefully be addressed (via a question) first.

=>Correct. It just was not asked. I only added #11 about the ushers as a tongue in cheek.

21. One person in attendance asked why doesn't the Athl. dept. reach out to Hamilton County. B2 said they are down here often. The attendee said, "Well, I don't know about it." B2 responded then they have failed to get the word out. It was added that a "Miami Caravan" will be traveling the state.

From Tod's list on page 1:

Quote:
6. Big Ten and PAC 10 expansion discussed. Said rumor is the B10 may expand to 12-16 teams taking from the B12 and from the East. Words from ND's AD confirm that ND would join a league when the expansions begin. PAC 10 is also discussing expansion. B2 said he wants Miami to appear lucrative to hopefully make out well when the dominoes begin to fall.

time for Miami to look lucrative.

Would Lucrative include pimping out our student coeds as media eye candy?
Does the WWE link w/Miz help or hurt here?

And lucrative, would include not being in the RED for the most part.
Breaking even, even. Would be enough of a sell point. As this would show that a larger "name" affiliation would only go towards the increase of the black side of the money ledger...

Things that have to happen... MWC and MAC join in financial and play agreement locking out BCS play after 2012 unless access to BCS championship is on even keel.
But that's just a stick.
The carrot would be to place remnants of BE and B12 and cherry pick from other remaining D1A programs to make two more Super-Conferences.

Iowa State and Baylor + Kansas to MWC - then MWC helps MAC lobby remaining teams (After ACC/SEC raids/rape/pillage have occurred in the BE. You know it's gonna happen.) to join the BIG MAC

MWC changes name to Big Mountain (-scratches head- this sounds familiar...) just nothing to do w/the name ROCKY or if our partnership we'll end up being though of as Bullwinkle...)

MAC changes name to BIG MAC (gets sponsorship from McDonalds finally for extra $$ and offers free BM w/ticket after each game as tie in... (if this happens invest in Lipitor and Simvastatin products!))

MAC takes left overs of BE plus takes Memphis from C-USA.
The BE will get to keep part of its name in the Big part - forming Big MAC name...(or Biggie Mac... Rolling Eyes )

MWC (Big Mountain) and BE/MAC (Big MAC) form OCC all sport guarantee group play. Traditional and regional rivalries play is adjusted to remain viable in how internal divisions and scheduling are set up in pay-day sports (b-ball and football predominantly.)
This is a bargaining chip to hold against the BcS so that they can take and replace the B-12 and BE's slots in the League.

At this point all the remaining D-1 conferences will be FORCED to adjust and form super-conferences too, to survive. (break those down if you would someone? Likely groupings/pairings/regionally and market oriented.)

Big Mountain and Big MAC would then give guarantees to the remaining to ensure their survival over other BcS to lock out the BcS too unless BcS opened up to all Super-conferences.

Caveat for this would be that each of the 8 super conferences would split internally into two leagues A and B. W/a championship between the two at the end of season.

A League would be the Premier League and B like the Minors but with full chance at Premier championship.
At end of every season A and B league divisions are re-ordered according to internal rankings and OOC play.

Top 8-12 (depending on size of league) become A /Premier BcS League in that Conference. Other become the B-League for a year.

Play w/in Conference between A and B league is not considered OCC games but Conference play all the same.

A vs B ooc between other leagues is the same as D1 vs D1 currently w/o bias and would likely be the primary route of BcS teams seeking OOC games to fill out their schedules each year as rankings change from A/B in each conferences.

THus OOC vs D-1AA teams would only be allowed once every few years to count as a full ooc game towards your record when playing for a championship.
Also playing a D1-aa team every year (or more than once a year) would and should have a detrimental ranking effect on a team that's in the Premier league.
Claim two 1-aa games in a row. Off to the B league you go automatically for at least one year!!!
woman all you want, but you can redeem yourself in the Conference Championship if you want to play for the Crytal Ball....

To be elligible for Conference affiliated bowls (A league over B league tie breakers where both have the same record) The one with the Higher Divisional and interdivisional record wins.
Also they must have a .500 Divisional record to be eligible for their AFFILIATED BOWLS! first and foremost. Otherwise they are entered in the Bowl selection Bonanza...and ranked according to pure records (all D1-AA games removed here unless it is a loss).

SO if you're a 10-2 overall pretty much guaranteed you got a winning or over .500 record in your own division/conference.
at 7-5 though it can get edgy...easy OOC games and thus a weak power schedule and you can be 4-5 in conference (less than .500) and still be bowl eligible...for your own affiliated bowls...

In new conference rules-0-- NOPE to the general Bowl selection Bonanza pile you go...

After All possible BcS and Affiliated bowl slots (that can be) are filled (with .500 conf rule eligible teams) then it's BONANZA time!
The Best remaining are reranked w/o name. All D1-AA wins removed (losses remain.) And then blind picks start from the top down.
This will reward the 11-1 B league team in a lower BcS (read B league) or Non BcS conference that only lost its championship game that didn't get good enough knee pads for its SI dept to get votes to affect arbitrary weekly rankings that affect the BcS championship invites automatically.

Bowls must then select the best numerical match ups that aren't season rematches or interconference match ups.
If the highest team selected to fill a the highest open bowl slot in the Bonanza round is a conference match then it automatically gets then next slot open and so on until locked.
Reveal of the final match ups doesn't occur until all Bonanza Bowl Slots are filled...

Don't think I'd have to go too far out on the limb here to say the MAC is now heads and shoulders above the WAC without Boise, Nevada and Fresno. The WAC will probably have to add Texas State and UTSA to stay as a 1A conference.
