We said goodbye to The Future of Rock and Roll.
Bake, Sledge, Beerman, and everyone else who used to work for 97X: Thank you. And know that WOXY lives on forever in the hearts of its listeners. _________________ "Psycho was low on talent. Wow, does that include me too? I was an employee of WOXY up until it was purchased by the Baloghs. Rick Stone was a great guy who owned the station when it was located in the basement of what is now DuBois Book Store. I had a lot of fun, but, as they say, that was the Stone age. I was never a part of the Future of RnR.
I do, however, doff my cap to the heroes out on the Pike who daily filled the airwaves with truly great programming. |
