Austin hasn't had a true alternative station since KNAC went off the air in the mid-90s. |

| Still won't have a "station" they'll just be broadcasting on the web and possibly on 'VXU's HD channel from Austin. It's a great move for them. I know I'll miss having the station in Cincinnati, though. |

I'm officially in mourning. For me, WOXY and Oxford will always be synonymous. The move to Cincy was OK in light of the loss of the terrestrial station. While I understand the business rationale, it has now been added to my growing list of 'favorite things about Ohio which have disappeared'. Yet another fond memory of my youth has been snatched away. I'll still tune in, but not as often. A traumatic day for the Cincinnati music scene.
