| Quote: | | In other news which Coach Mullins informed us of, 6'6 Class of 2010 wing Alex Dragicevich from Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, IL visits the University Of Utah this weekend and the University Of Colorado next weekend. Dragicevich is one of the most underrated players in Illinois' Class of 2010 and was terrific at the Reebok Proving Ground Regional Combine in Chicago in July. |

=>Update:
| Quote: | Class of 2010 Glenbrook North star Alex Dragicevich of the Illinois Wolves took an unoffical visit to the campus of the University of Utah last week, and took in the Utah/Texas Christian football game. Dragicevich, a 6'6" guard/forward, ranks as one of the top shooters in the state of Illinois regardless of class, and will be one of the leaders of a strong Glenbrook North team that figures to rank among the best in the state of Illinois.

| Quote: | 6'7" Class Of 2010 Star Alex Dragicevich Posts Stellar Junior Season With Glenbrook North, Now Set To Once Again Hit The Travel Team Circuit With A Loaded 17-U Illinois Wolves Team
Chicago Hoops
March 25, 2009
***
Dragicevich, a 6'7" wing, is known for his versatility, and his ability to drill shots with range that extends out beyond the three-point arc. Dragicevich averaged better than 20 points and 8 rebounds per game this season en route to leading Glenbrook North to within a game of advancing downstate in the IHSA Class 4A state tournament.
Mike Mullins of the Illinois Wolves describes Dragicevich as a long, tall, highly skilled wing with a deep shooting range, and a high basketball IQ. At 6'7", Mullins expects Dragicevich to be one big match-up problem all spring and summer.
Dragicevich already has scholarship offers on the table from Colorado and Utah with Michigan, Northwestern, Oregon State, Arizona State, Rhode Island, Marquette, Southern Illinois and St. Louis all keeping close tabs on him.

Missed a good part of his junior season of high school with an injury. At his best shooting the basketball with range. Posts big numbers when he gets hot. Close to returning to live game action.
Alex Dragicevich
Position: Shooting Guard Height: 6'7"
High School: Glenbrook North Class: 2010
A sensational shot-maker with size who continues to diversify his game. Drills shots both with range and accuracy. Put up big-time numbers at Glenbrook North during both his sophomore and junior years. |

Glenbroook North I believe is where Jon Scheyer went to high school. They were Illinois Class 2 champs a few years ago. It is also the school where Sean Wallis, starting PG, and Zack Kelly, starting center, for two time DIII National Champions Washington University, played. Just some worthless drivel for your amusement. _________________ "The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll!!"

=>Review of Dragicevich:
| Quote: | | Alex Dragicevich – Forward – Illinois Wolves (Glenbrook North) – You won’t find many in Illinois that can shoot the ball better than the Glenbrook North product. While deep perimeter shooting is his forte, the junior will also use a variety of dribble-drive moves to free up space for a mid-range pull-up. For his size, he still needs to attack the rim more, but that will improve down the road. |

Here is Part I of our list of stock risers from the 2009 Nike Spring Showdown In Indiana presented by ChicagoHoops.com. The event was held at the Fieldhouse of Merrillville, and features some outstanding basketball talent spread over five age divisions.
This is just Part 1. Much more is coming in regards to top performers from the event. This is only the beginning. Prospects are listed in no particular order.

Alex Dragicevich
6'7" Guard/Forward
Glenbrook North
Class of 2010
Illinois Wolves
We all know that he can really shoot it. Dragicevich continues to impress me with his tenacity, mental toughness, and the way that he continues to improve aspects of his game. Showed an awful lot during key stretches of 2nd half of the championship game with his team down, and in need of baskets. On one possession he posted up for two points. On two others he put the ball on the floor, and got to the rim. He got to the free throw line on one, and the ball rimmed out on the other, but showed just how much he has improved that aspect of his game.

Most Unheralded-- Alex Dragicevich 6'6 2G Northbrook (Glenbrook North) Illinois Wolves
... Even though he continues to show improvement, Dragicevich has not yet received the degree of national recognition that other top class of 2010 shooting guards in Illinois such as Ben Brust and Alex Rossi have. While the 17-under Illinois Wolves squad struggled throughout the weekend in Ft. Wayne, Dragicevich was clearly a bright spot. We have long known that Dragicevich is one of the best pure shooters in Illinois from the 2010 class. However, he is now consistently playing with an aggressive nature, and has gotten much better at attacking the basket and either finishing or drawing fouls. With added strength, he could become one of the most well-rounded guards in the state. Should that happen, we would not be surprised to see more high major offers come his way. |

Ben Brust - Rising Stars
Position: Shooting Guard Height: 6'2"
High School: Mundelein Class: 2010
Is now rounding back into shape from an injury that cost him a large part of his junior season. Delivers with a solid all-around game, and excels with his ability to shoot the basketball with range. Holds scholarship offers from Northwestern and Iowa with a host of other programs also in pursuit.
Alex Dragicevich - Full Package Athletics
Position: Shooting Guard Height: 6'7"
High School: Glenbrook North Class: 2010
Coming off of a stellar junior season at Glenbrook North which saw him average better than 20 points and 6 rebounds per contest. Continues to diversify his game, and can be plugged into multiple positions on the basketball court. Effective as a shooter with range, and can also use his size to post up inside. Strong spring has him positioned to be a popular attraction during the July Evaluation Period. |

Dragicevich has already taken an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor. =>Additional info on Brust and Dragicevich to add to what I posted earlier today directly above:
| Quote: | Additional Notes
... Ben Brust, the 6'2 shooting guard from Mundelein High School in Mundelein, IL reaggravated an ankle injury that has sidelined him for a good portion of the spring while warming up for his team's first game today at the Rambler Shootout at Loyola University's Gentile Center. However, it will not prevent Brust from heading to the University of Virginia this coming Monday for their elite player camp. We believe that there is a more than reasonable chance that Brust could come away with a scholarship offer from Cavaliers head coach Tony Bennett before he comes home.
... Alex Dragicevich, the 6'6 shooting guard from Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, IL, left after playing one game at Loyola in order to head to Indiana University for their elite camp. It would also not shock us whatsoever to see Hoosier head coach Tom Crean extend an offer to Dragicevich upon the camp's conclusion. |
