But i see Miami's wins against Xavier, Mississippi State and USA as better wins then what SIU produced.
Miami's loss to BG however horrendous was on the Road and when your conference's home teams win 70% of their games, these things will happen.
BG was so bad either, because Kent State lost to them as well. _________________

ZERO.
We had our chances... we lost games we shouldn't have lost with respect to...
Valpo
Dayton
Wright State
Add in the fact that we blew a game against Western Michigan.
So take away four losses that should've been wins..
That takes us to 21-11 and not sitting there wondering why we were left out of the NIT. |
If we win those games we are potentially dancing.
You forgot a horrendous loss to BG. |

If CBI announces bracket, will they be teams that have been given and accept bids?? Or, will they announce brackets then we get a grace period to ponder?? Or, do schools pretty much have their mind made up if they are going or not by now?? _________________ We're talking about, practice. |

And close losses to USC and Lou.
This yrs team left a LOT of wins that turned into a L.

| I thiink we are all coming to the same hard conclusion....if the boys had just executed well for an additional 5 minutes over the course of the entire season, we would be in a different boat. We are not - I think we just give them a pat on the back for a decent season. |

=>Yes. And if you have a problem with it, you don't have to watch, listen, or otherwise follow it. _________________ @dandakich "Yo Minnesota ..old school IU fans didn't think a state of the art practice facility was necessary either..old school means old results"

According to various sources, it appears at least 3 teams have already accepted invitations:
Ohio
Houston
Virginia _________________ HOWDY HO! |

UVA is on their official website.

The Houston bid was via the Houston Chronicle. I don't have the link handy but if you google it, you'll come up with it. Unfortunately, I haven't come up a good source that updates all of the bids together. _________________ HOWDY HO! |

I signed up for the CBI news list; so I'm assuming they will email a bracket. I will pass along if I hear. _________________ "We will win because... We're Miami and they're Not!" |

For what it is worth, nitology.com says (in reference to the CBI) that "...it seems a lot of teams are unwilling to take on financial commitments associated with participation so there will be many unpredictable teams likely being reached for."
I'm not sure what that means for Miami, if anything. |

I'm assuming the CBI announcement is delayed because either teams are mulling over whether to accept in general or they are balking at the 60k for a home game. _________________ HOWDY HO! |

Its a huge problem when you have FINALS week... or your kids are on Spring Break to schedule home games.
For schools that have lots of money this is a no brainer for them to pony up for the CBI. _________________

I think if they could get a semi big name team, they should go for it.
But then again, I only donate 75$ plus season tickets, I don't have 60k lying around.
I can gurantee that I would go though. _________________ "We will win because... We're Miami and they're Not!" |
