Colleges grouped by average family income of students (From <10K/yr to >100K/yr). The average Miami student comes from a family making more than 100K/yr, FWIW. _________________ "Psycho was low on talent. Psycho was low on athleticism. Psycho can play on my team any day. Geez, Miami was able to mark several 'underrepresented' boxes when they admitted me! |

Haven't visited, but it's supposed to be one of the best small science/engineering schools in the country. It's part of the Claremont colleges consortium -- five great little liberal arts colleges out in Southern California with some elements of common administration. A good friend of mine graduated from Pomona (another Claremont college) and swears by the place. _________________ "Man, if I ever find out who let Northern Illinois and Buffalo into the league, they're in trouble."

I don't think that list tells much unless it is broken out above $100K. I've been on quite a few of the campuses in that group and for every BMW campus, there are quite a few Yugos. _________________ Miami '95 |

| Other notable schools on that list are Ohio State, UC and Xavier. As far as I could tell Miami was the only MAC school. |
