My cousin played in the EJHL a few years back - for the Jr. Monarchs. Good league - good competition.

Rough outing for Connor as he surrenders 4G on 25 shots in a loss to Capital District on 10/12.

Knapp is a 6-5 goaltender who is tending net this season for the Boston Junior Bruins of the Eastern Junior Hockey League and will be a future netminder for Miami University (OH) in 2009-10.

Knapp drafted in the USHL's 2007 Futures Draft. Don't know if this indicates JZ will be back next year or not. Either way, it looks like we will need another goaltender to come in next year (probably from the USHL).

My gut tells me that JZ is back next year...just because I think LA will want to see him get two years as the main guy in college before they sign him.

he is not allowed to, at least during the season, because of NCAA restrictions on coaches and practice time. if they wanted to attend a camp of his or hire him for private coaching during the off-season i would assume they could.

the only thing that concerns me a little, but i dont know enough about junior hockey, is that neither of our two goalies are in the USHL, what do you think about that TW? like i said, i dont know enough, so it might not even be a big deal.

Actually, Reichard was a backup in the USHL last year:

GP 23, 8-9-0, 4.07 GAA, 0.876 SV%, 1 SO.

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=94015

While those aren't impressive numbers, he is dominating the NAHL this year. While the NAHL is not as talent laden as the USHL, there are some talented players there and his numbers w/ Fairbanks are very nice. Same can probably be said for Knapp and the EJHL.

Bottom line, you won't know until you see them play at the next level.
