Other Rules for sanity and civility- If you don't post an email address your post may be deleted.
- You MUST use the same handle on all your posts. Multiple handles from the same IP address are also grounds for messages to be immediately deleted.
- The proper way to contact the administrators of this board is by the email address admin@miamihawktalk.com.
- Messages must be relative to college sports and other Miami activities and deemed in good taste. While a discussion of other schools' athletic programs is permissible, messages by users who attempt to use MiamiHawkTalk.com to promote another school may be deleted.
- Similarly, discussions about alleged NCAA recruiting violations have proven counterproductive. Therefore, rumors of recruiting violations are discouraged and generally are not permitted. However, a discussion of news reports of ongoing investigations is permissible.
- Please be aware that there are a LOT of lurkers who visit this board--among them, members of the athletic administration and potential recruits.
- When dealing with matters that deal with the former, we strongly recommend you only post material that you would have no problem repeating to their faces.
- When dealing with matters of interest to the latter, please be aware that other schools have lost recruits due to wild rumors, speculation, and unfounded criticism that were discovered on fans' internet web sites. We do not wish to have that happen to our alma mater, or our coaching staffs, so again, keep this in mind when posting information about recruits. In addition,we will tolerate no posts about recruits that violate or even appear to violate NCAA regulations regarding recruits. MiamiHawkTalk.com will absolutely not be party to such violations.
